Wolf isn't exactly a clone, but Krystal would have had a much better/more unique moveset.
All Krystal gets is some lame secret taunt cameo (and sticker/trophy).

Wolf got kicked... in the balls... ouch...

Yes, I know Wolf isn't Panther.

My brother came up with the theory that Wolf is in Brawl because Krystal's invitation got lost in the mail.

Krystal isn't as big as Wolf in the storyline of Starfox in my opinion. I hope in the next game (if one is made) that both Wolf and Krystal are in. I'm glad Wolf is in, and he my new fav. Plus staff wielders in fighting games are usually overpowered or incredibly weak. Have you ever played Soul Calibur....Seung Mina and Kilik's staffs go throguh themevery 2 seconds. So she would be very hard to add with a staff. (IMHO)

Hm. All I've ever known Wolf to do is randomly challenge Fox. Oh, and almost die at the end of Assault. Not that I don't like Wolf. Krystal almost was the plot of Adventures. And I don't see how a staff is that much different from a sword. They've done it before and can do it again. And this is Smash Bros we're talking about here, not your basic generic fighting game (yeah I called SC generic. Wanna fight about it?), they'd find a way. But what is is. Wolf is in. A semi-clone. Krystal was more wanted. But it's all fine. I intended to make no point with this comic. Just some randomness that might get some laughs. [/IMHO]

Krystal only really was the damsel in distress and then the love interest where in one game's ending he she choose a different man/path. Wolf and Ridely both pop up random times and are linked to the death of family members. So, you saying that also accounts to most villians. I didn't mean to be harsh, but i'm tired of everyone complaining he is in instead of being happy there is another character. Wolf isn't even a semi-clone also. Toon Link is almost pure clone then every other dubbed clone character is more clonish then Wolf. Plus Krystal didn't really use the staff much if my memory is correct. She had it and lost it then Fox used it and powered it up the whole game. She probably got it back not knowing what it did any longer. :P No harm meant though. I hope she and Wolf are playable if there is a 4th game. :P

Uh... I say a pick of Krystal talking to either Fox or Falco in the way you do in the Star Fox games on the Lylat Cruise stage. Similarly to Fox/Falco's secret taunts on Corneria in Melee.
